Lecture by David Göttler
Mountaineering is as diverse and exciting as few sports can be and David is one of the few people on this planet who can authentically report on precisely this excitement and diversity. He completed his mountain guide training at a young age at the Vivalpin Mountain School and has dedicated himself to professional high-altitude mountaineering ever since. Physique, planning, material and will are his constant companions on the way and David knows better than almost anyone else how to combine all these aspects to achieve summit goals. The parallels to everyday working life may not seem obvious at first, but in his talks he manages to inspire the audience, provide new input and convey that failure is just as much a part of success as the view from the top.
